First day of SUMMER!

Today was so hot and sunny.

I had to get up early because I had left my stuff at my Mum's. I then went into work with my Dad. I started to reread one of my books, when I realised I was near town, Brighton, I fancied going out, it was such a nice day. I text some friends and only one person replied. I made plans to meet up with Vintagegirl, a really close friend from school.

However, we had a problem with the car and my Dad had disappeared, by the time he re-appeared, I had to change my plans because of him. I also realised I had to do something for my Mum, so I dropped off Mum's stuff, came back to Dad's work and went to meet up with Vintagegirl.

We met at the end of her street and walked down to the beach. It was so nice, I seriously needed a tan, my legs were practically white. After about an hour we grabbed an ice cream, and walked to the lanes. The lanes is a lovely place, the shops are lovely and most of them are really unique. Vintagegirl is looking for a job, she's been looking for about a year now, and surprisingly there were a few around, but most of them wanted experience, well no one is letting her get that experience, ugh people sometimes. Anyway we walked to the North lanes and then Vintagegirl showed this amazing shop Beyond Retro, it was well hidden, I'd been looking for it for ages, and failed. The shop was fantastic, I remembered some of the clothes, when they were in fashion when I was little, it was wonderful. If you were going to a fancy dress party, you'd probably find something in there too. There was something in there for almost anyone, well people who are into vintage clothing.

Anyway we walked back to the beach and to the Brighton Pier, we both really wanted a 99 flake. Has anyone realised that the whole point of it's name 99 flake is that it costs 99p, but no, the cheapest one was £1.50! Maybe they should change the name to 1.50. I remember when it was once called a Mr Whippy.

We decided to get a slush puppy instead and went back onto the beach. Vintagegirl laid under the sun whilst I got my book out, we talked about random things and then we had to go because she was meeting up with her Mum, and I had to get back to my Dad's work.

Now has anyone realised just how confusing buses are? I never get a number 5, 5a or 5b, and ended up getting on the right numbered bus but in the wrong direction, so had to quickly change buses and get on the right one. Luckily, I just got to Dad's at the right time, just. We picked up the monster and they dropped me off home whilst they went food shopping, I struggled with all the stuff and dumped it, yes step-mother I dumped it in the kitchen and quickly took my shoes off, my feet were sooo sore, I was so hot and I felt nasty, so I had the nicest shower ever. That was about 5pm and I couldn't be asked to get dressed so put on my pyjamas.

Was such a lovely day. Summer is here!

Jeremy Kyle

Seriously, why do they have to put it on at really annoying times. I mean I'm trying to do the ironing, and I get so into it, I sometimes nearly end up burning a hole in the clothes. Don't worry Step-mother, I haven't....Yet

The only decent thing on in the mornings is Jeremy Kyle though. I don't know what it is about the show, that I like so much. Do you ever get that with stuff? You like something so much, but can't put your finger on why? Weird how that happens.

I hope I'm not the only one :S

Monday morning

Wow even I'm shocked that I'm actually up at this time 8 am! Which is actually every good for me, considering I have no exams.

Anyway, today I have quite a bit for boring stuff to do: Revision for my last exam, ironing, get a delivery from someone.....(Zzzz) Basically boring stuff.

At the beginning of the year (academic year so sept'09)I decided that I wanted a job, as getting £2 a week wasn't enough, I thought. So when I told my Dad, he said that this year is really important, because of my exams etc... So we came to the agreement that I'd do all the ironing, for £40 a month. I thought it was a really good idea because it meant I could fit it around my school work.

Every now and then, the pile gets a bit big, but manageable, just. this is mainly because I live at two homes, one with Dad, on with Mum, so obviously there'll be times when it gets a bit high.

So when I got up this morning and went to get the washing to do some ironing this is what I found.

I know shocking! I swear they did that on purpose. There's about 3 days worth of ironing in there. Totally ridiculous.

Well might as well get started soon. After breakfast though.

Ugh

So I've been tiding up my room (the picture being what it looked like sort of before it got out of control). I know even I'm surprised, I forgot what colour the floor was. Anyway, I come across a bag of old make-up. I know, throw it out, but its the stuff that you buy in a massive box for little kids. So I thought it would be perfect for my little sister (or monster as she's also known as to me). So out of the kindness of my heart, I give it to her. I tried to show her what the make-up looked like on her, only that she was being a complete pain.

So to get her back I made her orange. Haha, but then she got me back by using MY face wipes. Oh well I guess I deserved that.

The moral to this story, never give the monster anything like that again. It'll save a lot of time, effect and face wipes.

The point of this is?

Now that I have started, I might as well explain why I'm blogging.

I'm going to use this, as a sort of online diary, of everything that's happening to me, my feels etc..

Since I'm going through a major time in my life now, I thought doing this would be good.

I'll tell you about me first and my situation. I'm basically about to leave school, and hopefully be a college student. I'll be on my own for the first time. I won't know anyone there. I've been at an all girl's all, all my life, so this will be a new experience for me.

First though I'll go through my last summer, before A levels.

You will experience everything that I'm doing. So yeah. Hopefully this will work.

Please feel free to leave any comments, but don't be too mean, as I'm new to this whole blogging thing.

Wish me luck :S

End of exams

So it's now coming to the end of my exams (TUESDAY!), which means that I will no longer be at school and be a college student. Everything seems to happening all so quickly.

What's sad for me, is that some of the people in my class, I have grown up with. I've known some of them for 12-13 years.

The majority of my friends are all going to the college. two of my friends are staying on at my current school for sixth form, so I'll be on my own :(.

I've never really had to make new friends, as I had been at my school since 1997. Which is about 13 years.

Oh well, bring it on! Is what I say, sometimes change is a good thing
